Your preferred supplier in facebricks
It seems a fairly obvious connotation, building and bricks, but one doesn't often realise that there are many different types of building brick and they are often suited best for specific types of building.
When planning a building there are many aspects to consider, such as:
- Size of the building
- Purpose of the building
- Overall look of the building
- Brick Prices
- What kind of finish the building have? In other words will it be plastered or will the bare brick be visible ( facebrick another option) ?
So the choice of building brick has a large part to play in the final product.
The growth of the South African economy has led to a larger number of people flocking to the cities. This massive increase in the general population of our cities has led to the need for cost effective housing. The demand for building bricks has increased accordingly.
Places like Rustenburg, that were previously considered rural, or too far from the hub to impact on the economy directly have increasingly become major contenders in all arenas and as a result the populations have risen as more people find economic viability in their areas. Fewer people are moving to the cities and so the need for housing and business space is on the increase in these areas that were all but abandoned in the past. The proximity of our plant to Rustenburg and the rural settlements puts us in a prime position to supply any new developments with the required building materials.
When it comes to durability, strength, and insulation, clay bricks stand far ahead of other options. Clay bricks are so versatile that they can be used both for interior and external building purposes, and the non-facing style provide good plaster adhesion.
Cement bricks come in a variety of styles, the most popular being stock bricks (7MPa, 10MPa), maxi bricks, and blocks (390mm). Our cement bricks are ideal for cost-effective, quality building.
The maxi brick is substantially larger than standard stock bricks. This means that fewer of these are required for building projects, which reduces labour costs. The maxi bricks are the same height as standard bricks but are longer and wider.
While each brick offers its own set of benefits and qualities, all of the bricks manufactured and supplied by Unicorn Bricks adhere to the strictest SABS and ISO standards and quality measures. The bricks we offer are of the highest standards, and at competitive prices, for the whole of Gauteng and the North West ProvinceRead about the qualities of Clay Bricks
